I've spent nearly two decades as a singer and bassoonist.
I specialize in a cappella and barbershop, frequently performing with my award-winning quartet Smoke Ring.

How do you describe Smoke Ring? Well, according to Deke Sharon (music producer of the Pitch Perfect movies, NBC's The Sing-Off), "Smoke Ring is the future of barbershop, a powerful 21st century mashup of musical styles & traditions."
We're not your grandfather's barbershop quartet, that's for sure. We've sung for thousands of audience members across the US, UK, Germany, and Finland. We've opened for Sammy Rae & the Friends, sung at the U.S. Open, and won the National Harmony Sweepstakes championship. More to come!

Music Directed and produced a sold-out event featuring over 25 performers and 15 acts, including my original compositions and arrangements.

I sang Lead in Madhattan, the Northern Division champions of the Mid-Atlantic District of the Barbershop Harmony Society. We also won the Tin Pan Alley Quartet competition, where we won best arrangement. Madhattan performed at the GovBall and on-board the USS Intrepid.

I was music director of The Stanford Mendicants for two years. The Stanford Mendicants are Stanford's oldest a cappella group, founded in 1963. During my time with The Mendicants, I arranged and recorded award winning tracks, competed on a national level (top 30 groups in the nation), and vocally nurtured over 40 young singers.

Sung with Margi Gianquinto, Cait Jones, and Adam Bock for the Jo Stafford Centennial Tribute.
